Voices of reportages

Drawn from the books of a travelling reporter, texts both fiery and poignant; the voices of women from Egypt, Somalia, Iran, Yemen, bruised by war or by cruel practices. They are interwoven with the voice of the author, for whom humour is the courtesy of despair. This film, “Voices of reportages”, combines texts and photos covering a life of militancy. It bears witness to the difficulty of being a woman – their suffering, their anger, their struggles. It covers half a century of stories that remain, alas, relevant today.
